Compact Edge Gluing Press
The GreCon Dimter ProfiPress from Michael Weinig is a new gluing press for small to medium quantities. The ProfiPress is fast and produces high-strength gluing quality that requires only a minimum amount of sanding, says the company. The range of performance of the press starts at about 100 square meters per shift. The machine can handle a board thickness of 12 mm up to 60 mm. Re-setting the machine for a product change is possible in less than three minutes because the press bed and the press slide do not need any setting at all.

Bardo Abrasives says its Bardo Flex Interleafs are versatile, long lasting, super easy to shape, low cost wheels available for sanding, defuzzing or buffing lineal mouldings. Bardo Flex interleafs combine non-woven abrasive material between soft, white sand paper and are available in numerous varieties designed to accomplish specific jobs. Independent Glue Guns
Nordson Corporation says its Veneer Composer Hot Melt Glue System replaces existing glue manifold assemblies with independent spot head glue guns, providing easier maintenance, faster installation and reduced downtime over conventional veneer bonding application systems. The independent glue guns can be disabled and repaired off-line, while the veneer composer continues production. The hot melt glue system uses Nordson’s air-open, spring-close H-200 Series adhesive applicator technology to provide clean, positive material cut-off. H-200 guns are ideal for most hot melt materials and viscosities, including aggressive and filled materials, says the company.

Bonder Kit
Adhesive Technologies says its CB900K Bonder Kit gives continuous output and tight temperature control. The guns provide the equivalency of 225 watts of power, yet no in-house power is required. The tools are cordless and operate on butane fuel. The Delmac 60 CB from Delmac Machinery Group is a semi-automatic contour edging machine for shaped and/or straight panels. The tilting table allows banding of straight panels with an angled profile up to 45 degrees. The open table surface allows free movement for edgebanding most curved panels with a minimum inside radius of 20 mm (3/4”) plus banding thickness.
