Pre-plan your success at IWF
The International Woodworking Fair is the largest show this industry attends in this hemisphere. For four days in late August (August 24-27), the woodworking world converges on the Georgia World Congress Center and Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia. Modern Woodworking knows from experience the value of pre-planning when attending IWF. That is why we have decided to start our coverage in June with the IWF 2000 Pre-Planning issue and continue this coverage in the July IWF 2000 Target Technology section.
To give an idea of the sheer scale of this fair, we offer some interesting figures. According to the latest IWF information, out of the more than 1,200 exhibiting companies expected at IWF 2000, more than 330 companies already have indicated that they plan to display, demonstrate or introduce new products or services during this event. In addition, 240 new companies are making their debut at IWF 2000. That’s 570 exhibitors offering fresh ideas, innovations and technological advancements.
Overall, the fair will feature more than 1,250 exhibitors, all shoulder to shoulder in 700,000 net square feet of exhibit space. The halls will be thick with attendees all wanting to see the latest in technologies. So, it will help to have an idea of which exhibits to visit and where in the Georgia World Congress Center and Georgia Dome these exhibits are located.
