Fremont, CA – iGATE Patni, an integrated technology and operations brand signed a $30 million contract to provide managed IT infrastructure service operations to the Weyerhaeuser NR Co., one of the world's largest forest products companies.

Weyerhaeuser operates in 10 countries and employs 14,900 people, primarily in the United States and Canada.

As a part of the deal iGATE Patni will leverage its world-class managed on-demand infrastructure services capability to help Weyerhaeuser's IT organization respond to a dynamic business environment more efficiently and cost effectively, the company said.

iGATE Patni will leverage its service delivery and monitoring platform to manage Weyerhaeuser's server footprint across multiple sites and will also provide on-demand storage using a private cloud model.
